Role Overview

The role is a pure operations position, supporting the Underwriting Operations Lead (London) in daily underwriting activities across multiple lines of business, including offshore delivery operations.

Main Duties / Accountabilities
  • Support daily operations for international underwriting lines from submission to booking.
  • Serve as the key contact for resolving issues/concerns raised by underwriting stakeholders/customers.
  • Coordinate with onshore/offshore operations teams to address questions and queries.
  • Review offshore performance related to service levels, delivery quality, issue resolution, audits, and benchmarking.
  • Ensure operating procedures and guidelines are established, maintained, and standardized globally.
  • Develop corrective action plans related to business needs and offshore performance.
  • Complete ad hoc activities assigned by the Underwriting Operations Lead.
Technical Skills / Competencies

Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Office, Xuber for Insurers, and automation tools (robotics/machine learning).

Relevant Experience

Essential: 2-3 years in processing operational activities within a Coverholder/Service Company, especially with offshore operations, in relevant lines of business.

Desirable: Over 3 years supervising underwriting operations, with experience in Professional Liability and Financial Lines, managing offshore teams.
