Job description

Job Title : Operations Analyst
Location: Notting Hill, London — four days in the office and one from home
Reporting to: Head of Operations Europe
Scope: UK and US operations
ABOUT TRIP

TRIP’s mission is to create calm in the everyday chaos for our community, offering next-generation wellness products to power their lifestyle and nurture mental wellbeing. Co-founders, husband-and-wife team Olivia and Daniel, discovered plant-based wellness after a transformative personal experience and launched TRIP in 2019 to bring delicious, high-quality functional drinks and supplements to millions of people globally.

Now the world’s #1 Calming Beverage Brand, TRIP’s award-winning drinks and wellness products are crafted with botanicals and adaptogens to help people relax, unwind and find balance. Since launch, TRIP has rapidly expanded from the UK across Europe and North America, generating over $100 million in sales. Our products are available in leading supermarkets, natural retailers and online.

Our vision is to become the global leader in calming drinks and supplements — synonymous with calm in the same way Red Bull is with energy. We move fast, think big and are committed to becoming the defining brand for a generation who drinks less but prioritises mental wellbeing more than ever. There has never been a better time to join our team and be part of the movement.

THE ROLE

As our Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the software, data and analytics that keep our global business & supply chain accurate, connected and running smoothly. You’ll take ownership of the critical digital processes that keep internal & external operations running. Alongside resolving issues and maintaining reliable data flow and analytics, you’ll find practical ways to reduce manual work through better processes, integrations and automation. Reporting to our Head of Operations Europe, you’ll work closely with the Head of AI, Supply Chain, Finance, our Operations Systems Specialist. This role also manages our digital partners including Snowflake, GCP and Azure so you’ll enjoy understanding how information moves between platforms and getting to the root of problems when something doesn’t work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Seamless data flow and automated analytics
  • Manage data flows through Snowflake and our financial planning and forecasting tools to support our monthly planning cycle

  • Support the setup and testing of new software connections, ensuring data flows accurately through our business

  • Investigate recurring issues, identify their root causes and implement improvements that prevent them from happening again.

Drive continuous improvement across the business
  • Work with the Head of AI to ensure that all data is warehoused optimally for analysis by humans and AI

  • Apply AI and automation tools where they can deliver measurable improvements across the business.

  • Work alongside our Operations Systems Specialist to maintain consistent operational data and reporting across the UK and US.

Help the team work confidently
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance measures, highlighting exceptions and explaining what needs attention.

  • Document processes, integrations and troubleshooting steps, keeping guidance clear and up to date.

  • Train colleagues on relevant tools and workflows so knowledge is shared across the team

ABOUT YOU

You enjoy understanding how things work, spotting what could work better and following a problem through to a practical solution. You’re comfortable combining detailed operational work with technical problem-solving and communicating clearly with colleagues who use systems and software differently from you

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • A programming & process mindset with experience in software, data & systems.

  • Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis, automation and manipulation of large datasets.

  • Familiarity with Google Apps Script, VBA & Power Query & Office Script

  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP, Azure and Snowflake

  • Excellent Excel skills and comfortable dealing with large data sets.

  • Experience improving a process or automating a repetitive task, with a clear understanding of the outcome you delivered.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operational colleagues, Finance and external partners.

  • Strong attention to detail, ownership and the ability to prioritise in a growing business.

  • A practical interest in AI and automation, with an emphasis on making everyday work more reliable and efficient.

It would be a bonus if you also have:
  • Experience in food, drink, FMCG or another business selling physical stock

  • Experience building automated workflows with n8n or similar tools.

  • Experience using Power BI or another reporting and visualisation platform.

  • Experience with Git or another version control system, for tracking and collaborating on changes to scripts, queries and automation code

You don’t need experience with every tool or system listed. We’re interested in how you approach problems, what you’ve improved and your ability to learn.
