THE OPPORTUNITY – OPERATIONS ADVISOR

Accountable for the development of an operating integrity framework, and its assurance and governance processes, across Spirit Energy.

Required to ensure best practice execution of operations within assets, providing subject matter expertise across the full lifecycle.

Duration: 31st December 2025

Location: Aberdeen based. Trips to Barrow/Offshore assets as required.

PAYE Contract Rate: To be confirmed

Closing Date: Friday 4th July

Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers. There are 3 core days that must be worked in the office. Tuesday and Wednesday are compulsory days and another day of the workers choosing. The other 2 days can be either worked at home or in the office.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…

You will be accountable for:

Standards & Process

Support development of key CoW systems and procedures including PTW, SIRPs and control of temporary equipment.

Skill Pool Development

Working with the training and competence team to drive improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency for Operated Assets

Production Operations

Provide support and objective input to any complex production operations, issues or threats across the operated assets

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An extensive background in the oil and gas industry, including wide-ranging experience within operational integrity at supervisory/management level; being responsible for a diverse range of activities.
  • A good understanding of operational management, operations readiness and assurance
  • A good understanding of major hazard legislation and its implication for operational controls
  • A good understanding of Process Safety Management and the practical applications of an operating integrity framework.
