Interactive Investor is seeking an Operation Administrator to join the Customer Accounts team in Leeds. This full-time, hybrid role requires meticulous processing of operations tasks across cash, settlements, transfers, and reconciliations, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder relationships.

You will deliver high-quality service to customers and internal teams, handle queries by phone and email, and contribute to continuous improvements while adhering to FCA rules and policy.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume processing.
• Strong time management to meet daily deadlines and SLAs.
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving skills in operational contexts.
• Ability to work within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to meet the requirements of internal and external customers.
• Make customer contact via phone, email/letter to enable straight-through processing.
• Timely and accurate processing of all customer documents and returned queries.
• Adhere to applicable regulations and FCA rules in your area of work.
• Process all departmental administration tasks with high accuracy.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Specialists with sufficient information.
• Continually challenge policies and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Be part of the departmental telephone query team to support queries from internal customers.
• Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and promoting a positive work environment.
• Move between tasks and departments as business needs require.
• Maintain the organisation’s first line of defence by adhering to processes and regulatory standards.
• Make informed risk decisions within the approved Risk Management Framework.
• Log risk events and understand risk through training and documentation.
