Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Operations Administrator based in Kempston, Bedford for a rapidly growing company. You will provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Operations and help maintain ERP data and order progress.

The role requires GCSEs including English and Maths, experience in an operations/manufacturing environment, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems. Power Query and Power BI experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths, or relevant practical experience.
• Previous experience in an operations administration, coordination, manufacturing administration or similar role.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, OEM or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting operational, project, procurement or production teams.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP or business management systems.
• Good level of written and numerical literacy.
• Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Operations and supporting functions.
• Maintain accurate operational, order and delivery information within the ERP/business management system.
• Monitor aftermarket order progress, key dates and outstanding actions.
• Support project, procurement and production teams with status updates, trackers, reports and follow-up actions.
• Identify potential delays, issues or information gaps and escape them to the appropriate manager.
• Support operational, project, procurement and production meetings with accurate information and administration.
• Maintain action trackers and ensure agreed actions are followed up to completion.
• Coordinate information between departments to improve visibility and flow of work.
• Support continuous improvement of operational processes, reporting and system data.
