This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational and people manager to join NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies.
We are nationally recognised as a high performing NHS Talking Therapies service, with a reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and collaborative working with secondary care and voluntary services.
We provide a range of NICE compliant psychological therapies for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, achieving excellent recovery outcomes for our patients. We have good staff retention and aim to grow inclusive staff teams where diversity is valued and the workforce reflects the communities served.
For suitably experienced candidates, this role could open doors within the NHS if applying externally, or broaden experience, exposure, and development if applying internally.

As operational team lead, you will ensure a high-quality service for patients, support clinicians to meet key performance indicators, and work collaboratively with local and senior teams. Reporting to the deputy operational head of service, you will oversee operational, HR, financial, and performance management, and lead change management initiatives to improve processes and patient outcomes.
You will support the business and administration process manager in leading the administration team and work across West Sussex Talking Therapies localities to ensure consistency.
Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to engage with clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
This position is based in Chichester, with travel required to other bases and localities across West Sussex.
