Page Personnel represents a global professional services firm recruiting for an Operational Tax (FS) Assistant Manager based in Manchester. The role focuses on delivering expert operational tax advice to FS clients, managing tax compliance processes and ensuring timely tax returns.

The successful candidate will be near- qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA/ATT), with experience in financial services and knowledge of withholding tax, transaction tax or information reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational or product tax within financial services.
• Strong understanding of tax in FS contexts.
• Able to handle end-to-end tax processes.
• Good knowledge of industry tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on operational tax matters to clients.
• Assist in managing and delivering tax compliance processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and related documentation.
• Support clients in understanding and implementing changes in tax legislation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Assist with tax audits and resolve related queries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax operations.
