Operational Support Officer - Inclusion for Schools and Early Years
Waverley Court

Salary: £44,257 - £52,373
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

This role is part of a transformational change in inclusion within the City of Edinburgh Council, as services are realigned to support the vision for inclusion. The Early Years Operational Support Officer for Inclusion will lead a team of Early Years Officers responsible for providing guidance, support, and professional learning to all Early Learning and Childcare settings within the city, aligning with our vision and statutory requirements under the ASL Act.

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

Our salary range typically reflects the starting salary, with annual increases until it reaches the top of the range.
