Coventry City Council seeks enthusiastic candidates for three full-time administrative roles within the Children's Fostering and Placements services. In our Professional Support Service, you'll play a vital role, supporting Children’s Services on an administrative basis, you'll contribute significantly to Children’s Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey. We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.
We have 3 full time posts available which are based in the Children's Fostering and Placements services.
Post 1 - The main function of the role will be processing financial assessments for Special Guardianship carers. This will include updating case management and in-house tracking systems, chasing documents in line with deadlines and completing the assessments.
Post 2 - The main function of role will be processing various checks and references for prospective foster carers for children. This will include updating case management and in-house tracking systems and chasing documents in line with deadlines.
Post 3 - This role provides administrative support to the Placements team, which includes processing invoices, completing notification forms and placement agreements for children.
In all posts you will also be answering phone calls from carers and other professionals, monitoring functional mailboxes and any other required support tasks. You will promote a positive working culture where children and are at the heart of everything we do.
The Fostering and Placements Services are rewarding and exciting areas to work in, where you will be part of a team ensuring the child’s journey within Children’s Services is the best it can be.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
