DHL Supply Chain at East Midlands Airport is seeking an Operational Support Assistant & Aircraft Cleaner to join our aviation logistics team. You will help ensure flights run smoothly by cleaning cargo aircraft to a high standard and supporting security processes.

The role requires the ability to work quickly to tight deadlines, great communication, and prior cleaning or airport experience is preferable. The position is full-time, permanent, based at East Midlands Airport with 4 on 4 off shift

Responsibilities

• Cleaning cargo aircraft to a high standard.
• Work quickly to meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all security processes at East Midlands Airport.
• Operate training-required equipment to meet safety standards.
• Work in a safe and tidy manner.
• Clean Pilot lounge and manage replenishment tasks.
• Prepare crew beds and organize linen delivery/collection.
• Prepare aircraft bedding packs.
• Clean Engineering hangar including ride-on scrubber use.
• Complete catering requests and packing of catering.

We're now looking for an Operational Support Assistant & Aircraft Cleaner to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every flight is a success.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Cleaning cargo aircraft to a high standard
• Ability to work quickly and to meet tight deadlines
• Ensuring that you comply with all security processes at East Midlands Airport
• Operate all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations
• Working in a safe and tidy manner
• Cleaning of Pilot lounge including drink, coffee machine and food replenishment tasks
• Making of crew beds and cleaning bedrooms, organisation of linen delivery and collection
• Making up aircraft bedding packs
• Cleaning of Engineering hangar including use of ride on scrubber
• Completing catering requests and packing of catering

• Be able to provide five years' address history
• Be able to provide five years' reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
