Job summary

C&M Travel Recruitment is seeking an Operations Executive for a luxury DMC based in the Midlands. The role is office-based with hybrid or mainly home-based options after training, with a salary up to £33,000 plus a bonus of up to two months and benefits.

You will manage client bookings after payment, arrange accommodation, guides, transport, attractions and experiences, input travel details with high accuracy, and provide end-to-end support before, during and after trips.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel operations preferred, candidates from other industries considered.
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments and tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the UK travel market requested.

Responsibilities

• Manage client bookings after payment by sales team.
• Arrange accommodation, guides, transport, and experiences.
• Input travel details with high accuracy.
• Provide end-to-end client support before, during and after trips.
• Communicate proactively with clients or US agents throughout trips.
• Anticipate issues and resolve them before they affect clients.

Job description

Operations Executive

- Required for this luxury DMC based in the in the Midlands. They are ideally looking for an experience operations executive from the travel industry but are open to other industries, office based, hybrid or mainly home based is an option after training. Salary up to £33,000 plus up to 2 months salary bonus, 22 days holidays, pension, travel discounts etc .

• Managing the clients booking once payment has been taken by the sales team
• Booking accommodation, tour guides, transportation, attractions, restaurants, attractions and experiences
• With great accuracy inputting travel details
• Providing end to end client support, before, during and after the trip
• Proactively communicating with the client or the US travel agent who introduced them throughout their trip
• Spotting problems before them come client facing, always thinking one step ahead
• Negotiate favourable terms with the companies partners
• Manage your own client trips, dealing with emergency situations when they arise

Operations executive skills required

• Ideally you will have worked in the travel industry in a high pressurized operations role , but they are open to similar roles in other industries
• Passion for the UK
• Comfortable using AI tools

Additional information

• After 4 weeks training, accomodation and transport paid for if you are not local . They are open to office based with Fridays working for home and homebased with a trip to the office every couple of weeks for a day. Office based in Telford
