Job summary

Essential Employment seeks an Operational Services Supervisor in Kidderminster to lead the on-site team, ensuring safety, cleanliness and presentation while efficiently deploying resources to meet targets. You will supervise routine machinery maintenance, train staff, manage equipment spares and uphold health and safety standards.

This is a full-time, temporary contract with pre-employment checks. Applications from capable leaders are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead role within Operational Services and ensure the area remains Safe, Clean and Looking Good through effective inspection and deployment of resources.
• Organise all the resources required to complete a task, getting everything to site and instructing/motivating the staff on site to ensure a high performance rate and minimising wastage.
• Undertake training and instruction as may be required by management to ensure the safe and efficient performance of the service.
• Undertake any Health and Safety training as relevant and wear protective equipment and clothing where required.
• Supervise routine machinery maintenance, ensuring correct and safe use of equipment and vehicles; to maintain and report on the level of equipment spares and the completion of maintenance records.

• To provide a lead role within Operational Services and ensure the area remains Safe, Clean and Looking Good through effective inspection and deployment of resources.

• To organise all the resources required to complete a task, getting everything to site and instructing/motivating the staff on site to ensure a high performance rate and minimising wastage as much as possible and in so doing achieving set targets.
