The Estates Department is looking to recruit a highly motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work as part of a multidisciplinary team primarily within the Scarborough/Bridlington area.

The department provides management, development, maintenance, and operational support for the Trust's buildings and engineering infrastructure. This role is crucial for the maintenance support service, covering a wide range of engineering services to hone your skills. The candidate should have a good general knowledge of building services and engineering maintenance, backed by BTech, City and Guilds Craft Certificate, or NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.

Must be able to work cooperatively within a team, with experience in a maintenance environment. Reliable, resilient, enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision are essential qualities.

The role involves participating in an on-call/out-of-hours rota, for which additional payment is provided. The candidate must be able to transport themselves and equipment across the community during a normal workday.
