As part of Citi, a global organization committed to responsible financial services, you will support the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Team, focusing on Lending Operations, Cash Services, Tax Reporting, and Controls within various sectors.

This role is part of the Second Line of Defense (2LOD), providing independent oversight, assurance, and strategic guidance to manage operational risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong risk culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing oversight and assurance over the operational risk management framework.
• Conducting risk assessments and reviews of business units.
• Challenging the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
• Developing risk reports with qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Analyzing risk data to identify patterns and develop action plans.
• Investigating operational concerns and implementing corrective actions.
• Building relationships with operational functions and facilitating risk awareness activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Solid understanding of the Operational Risk Management Framework and the three lines of defense model.
• Experience in risk management practices and operational processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
