Nottingham City Council Housing Services is seeking a highly organised Operational Resource Planner to coordinate and schedule work for trades colleagues and contractors.
You will manage daily schedules, respond to urgent repairs, monitor performance, and maintain records while providing admin support and contributing to team projects. This hybrid role is based at Harvey Road with travel to other sites across Nottingham.
Role: Operational Resource Planner
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Worker Type: Hybrid worker – there will be an expectation that the postholder will work on average 2 days per week in the office, at Harvey Road
Salary: Grade D - Starting Salary is £27,709 (Level one) rising to £28,608 (Level three) per annum
Location: Harvey Road (NG8 3BB) will be the contracted base for this role, but the postholder will be expected to be able to travel to other sites across Nottingham, as needed.

We’re looking for a highly organised Operational Resource Planner to join our Business Services team at Nottingham City Council Housing Services. In this key role, you’ll support the Business Services Operations Manager to help deliver a responsive, customer-focused repairs service by coordinating and scheduling work for trades colleagues and contractors to ensure the best use of resources and achievement of service targets.
You’ll manage busy daily schedules, allocate appointments, respond to urgent repairs, and adapt plans to meet changing priorities. Working with a range of systems, you’ll monitor performance, maintain accurate records, and identify improvements to support efficient service delivery. You’ll also provide essential administrative support, contribute to team projects, and work closely with colleagues and customers to resolve queries, including complaints.
