If you are a self-starter with strong management skills, a control focus, strategic thinking, execution capabilities, stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, then this role is for you. We have observed an increased regulatory focus on operational resiliency globally. Several regulators have published formal policy statements, urging organizations to strengthen their resiliency frameworks. These regulatory requirements are complex, impacting Firmwide and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) levels, spanning Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Corporate Functions. Consequently, the Resiliency framework and tooling are undergoing a significant transformation.

As a Programme Manager - Executive Director in the Operational Resiliency team, you will lead a program team to deliver a continuous development agenda aligned with Firmwide, CIB, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate with the broader CIB resilience team to communicate with senior management during crises of specific severity. Your main goal will be to ensure the firm is prepared for any disruption and can respond effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive program strategy and deliverables
2. Implement the CIB resiliency strategic agenda, collaborating with global partners and the Firmwide Resiliency team
3. Build and leverage partnerships across business, technology, and operations in line with program objectives
4. Engage with control stakeholders, including 2nd and 3rd lines of defense
5. Promote an inclusive leadership culture by building a diverse team and actively participating in the firm’s diversity initiatives
6. Manage CIB senior management communication during crises in coordination with the broader resilience team
