Job Description:

The Role: This is an exciting time to join ION where you will be joining a specialist team. As our resilience reporting lead, you will be responsible for implementing the operational resilience reporting across ION Markets. The successful candidate will have a track record and hands-on experience of developing, reporting, and analytics for risk and/or operational resilience. Experience of dynamic reporting across a large multi-national company is essential. Ideally from a financial services background, the candidate should have a technical background and the ability to configure software and reporting capabilities. The role focuses on designing the operational structure and management for business resilience, including mapping business-critical services and aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. You will work as part of the Operational Resilience team and contribute to broader resilience, BCP, and crisis management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead reporting on the maturity of the operational resilience program and associated risks.
  2. Manage governance and steering committee meetings, reporting on operational resilience status.
  3. Train staff on the Fusion software tool (operational resilience tool).
  4. Create and oversee a database for monitoring critical third parties within the risk management framework.
  5. Manage updates and improvements to the resilience software (Fusion RM).
  6. Configure data feeds to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
  7. Administer the Fusion platform.
  8. Prepare operational resilience, BCP, ITDR reports for senior management.
  9. Lead responses to client requests for operational resilience information.
  10. Collaborate with technical teams on IT disaster recovery reporting and risk status.
  11. Develop controls frameworks for monitoring the resilience program.
  12. Participate in horizon scanning and strategic risk analysis to identify future risks.
  13. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and develop escalation frameworks for incidents and crises.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  1. Experience in risk and/or operational resilience functions.
  2. Experience managing risk committees and reporting functions.
  3. Strategic thinker with attention to detail across different company areas.
  4. Hands-on experience managing software tools, especially in risk management.
  5. Experience training staff on operational resilience software tools.
  6. Ability to create training manuals.
  7. Manage client queries related to operational resilience.
  8. Experience managing controls environments and risk reporting processes.
  9. Technical proficiency in managing data feeds and configurations.
  10. Ability to generate reports for internal, audit, regulatory, and client purposes.
  11. Experience working with stakeholders across different territories and markets.
  12. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  13. Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
