Support the evolution of the Natixis CIB UK Branch governance, including the coordination and secretarial functions of the Risk Board.
Facilitate the integration of the Natixis CIB UK Resilience Framework into processes and governance structures that support and oversee the Branch's services and activities.
Assess the management of material risks for the London Branch, define and implement control actions to mitigate these risks, and guide business lines and departments on their control setups.
Collaborate closely with Second Line of Defence teams to ensure consistent application of relevant global and local rules, policies, and standards across the London Branch.
Coordinate and manage cross-departmental initiatives to enhance the operating model of the UK Branch.
This position is a First Line of Defence role.
- Analyze risk indicators and data points (KRIs, Risk Assessments) to identify trends or potential risks, escalating issues to senior management as needed.
- Coordinate monthly control campaigns and conduct quality assurance.
- Assess and challenge the effectiveness of first-line controls independently.
- Work with CIB supervisors and senior management to develop remediation plans and allocate resources to address control weaknesses.
- Monitor risk events and ensure timely closure, escalating issues when necessary.
Governance & Supervision:
- Ensure local supervision structures comply with statutory requirements and support the establishment of global standards.
- Facilitate key governance forums such as the UK Risk Board and Control Committee.
- Monitor adherence to supervision requirements and escalate issues appropriately.
- Oversee services provided by intragroup functions, ensuring SLAs are met and reviewed.
- Maintain the UK Branch policies and procedures framework.
- Collaborate with Second and Third Lines of Defence and Head Office CIB teams.
Other Duties:
- Assist in Business Management support for UK Banking lines.
- Support the management of the UK Branch resilience framework, including regular assessments and reporting.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
