Notes from Deerfoot Recruitment (25/04): As a trusted recruitment partner to MUFG for close to 15 years, we have been informed of an upcoming contract opening for a 'Resilience Remediation BA'. This role is currently in the approval process and is expected to be formally released within the next 1-2 weeks. While specific details such as the day rate and contract length are pending final signoff, MUFG typically offers market rates, and contracts usually last a minimum of 6 months with frequent renewals. Please note that contractors at MUFG are usually required to work onsite full-time, five days a week. Deerfoot is proactively collecting applications in anticipation of this imminent requirement. The role of MUFG Technology Resilience is to ensure that critical business services' underlying processes, systems and applications are resilient and can, where possible, continue to be provided to service users even in the event of disruption.
The Digital Operational Resilience Act 2022/2554 ('DORA') provides a regulatory framework for participants within the financial sector to adequately prevent, respond and recover from cyber disruptions through a homogenous digital operational resilience strategy. The focus of DORA is specifically in relation to ICT-related risks and disruption and ensuring digital operational resilience.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience of Anomalous Activity Detection and Systems Monitoring with a strong focus on ensuring resilience in line with regulation including DORA and Operational Resilience (SS1-21). This role is critical to strengthening our organisation's operational resilience by ensuring that the correct level of monitoring is in place to highlight and mitigate potential system outages in a timely fashion to minimise potential disruptions.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT processes, controls, and practices align with regulatory requirements, helping safeguard our digital platform and maintain compliance across all IT operations.
The role holder will ideally have 5+ years of experience supporting financial institution(s) to deliver regulatory initiatives in the capacity of a Business Analyst.
