Who we are looking for:

State Street Alpha Implementation team is looking for an Alpha operational readiness assistant to support our 3rd party data gathering and set-up coordination process.

We’re looking for professionals with experience across front and middle office operating models, business analysis, data management, and project management disciplines.

The primary purpose of this role will be engaging with clients to perform data gathering, set-up coordination, and reporting. The Alpha operational readiness assistant partners with SSC Operational Readiness leads on in-scope tasks to ensure that the client and business teams are operationally ready for the migration of new business onto the State Street platforms.

What you will be responsible for:

As Senior Associate – operational readiness assistant

  • Reporting of third-party outreach activities (on-boarding of external parties such as custodians, brokers, transfer agents, and clearers) where required.
  • Prepare summary reporting on the status of assigned tasks.
  • Monitoring project plans and tracking activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Capturing minutes and assigned actions as required.
  • Support the Operational Readiness Leads on events like Day in the Life and Production Parallel that lead up to the Go-Live event including hypercare.
  • Proactively raise risks and issues effectively within the program.
  • Leverage the ASIS standards and provide feedback on changes/improvements.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably in Investment Management / Asset Management.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back-office functions.
  • Intermediate to advanced with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
