The Laboratory Medicine directorate is on an exciting transformation journey and we currently have a full time opportunity for a credible and passionate Operational Manager to join our team on a full time basis.
The Laboratory Medicine directorate is part of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Pathology (SYBP) network. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the SYBP Performance Lead to provide day-to-day management of administrative and clerical services, deliver financial, activity and performance targets and support services across the network.

Work collaboratively with the SYBP Performance Lead to support the provision of high quality care, within a patient-centred environment.Delivering on financial, activity and performance targets and supporting teams across the network, leading on service redesign, involving front-line staff and patients in delivering effective, efficient and timely services, in a cost-effective way.
With responsibility for the delivery of activity, turnaround time, and performance targets, including regular activity modelling and capacity planning, the successful candidate will contribute to the production of service development bids, business cases and capital bids.
Fully contributing during the implementation of IT development including Electronic Patient Record/EDMS and other T3 programmes. Taking a lead on external and internal communication and ensuring that responsive and effective channels of communication are established, both internally and with external stakeholders.
