Operational Manager 8726| Permanent contract | £34,434 to £36,363 per annum (Scale H) | 37 hours per week| Weekends on a rota basis | Mill Close, Aylsham

While the office base is Aylsham, this role with manage a team of Reablement Support Workers in Wroxham, Blofield, Acle and surrounding areas.

Would you like to work as part of our well-trained team of support workers and Occupational Therapists, ensuring reablement staff are delivering reablement plans that support the delivery of care and support in the community? Then this role is for you.

Norfolk First Support delivers services to adults in Norfolk in their own homes for up to six weeks, assisting them to regain skills they may have lost following an illness or hospital admission. The aim is to enable them to regain their independence as much as possible while also reviewing any ongoing support that may be needed.

Norfolk First Support is part of the wider Norfolk First Response Service which includes Swift Response and Grays Fair Court.

You will be part of an Operational Management team for Norfolk First Support, specifically focussed on supporting a team of Support Workers working in Wroxham, Blofield, Acle and surrounding areas. The role includes line managing a team of Reablement Assistant Practitioners, Reablement Support Workers to provide daily support/guidance and regular supervision/team meetings to ensure the effective use of resources to maximise the delivery of a quality service.

To ensure that the service works in partnership with other professionals, making use of voluntary and community services as necessary to provide the best possible care to people and their carers.

Liaise with Registered Service Managers, Reablement Assistant Practitioners and other Operational Managers on issues relating to the delivery of reablement support.

To monitor electronic staffing and scheduling systems to ensure the smooth running of the service.

You will need to have experience of working with people and be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with members of the public. You will also need to be able to exercise judgement and initiative and be able to plan and prioritise your own work.

This is an exciting and challenging role. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and need knowledge of current policy, practice, legislation within Health and Social Care and enjoy working with members of the public and other professionals in Health and Social Care.
