Job Purpose

The successful candidate will focus on powered installations, working with the County System Performance teams to improve monitor fleet standards and drive improvements to the DNM platform. Responsibilities include resolving sensor performance issues, identifying high-risk needs, and minimizing reactive activities to prevent service failures or customer issues.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage sensor performance and data to improve drainage, reduce incidents, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate deployment and configuration data in UU systems
  • Support sensor deployment planning to maximize value and prevent incidents
  • Coordinate health and safety activities related to sensor installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Ensure safe and effective sensor installation, onboarding, and data management
  • Work with maintenance providers to reduce sensor failure
  • Contribute to incident reports and support post-event reviews
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder engagement regarding sensor activities
Technical Skills & Experience
  • Awareness of Confined Space Regulations 1997
  • Experience in sewer operation and maintenance techniques
  • Knowledge of sewerage law, health and safety standards, and regulatory contacts
  • Understanding of pumping station principles
  • Budgeting, communication, and IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and interface with customers
