We are recruiting for an Operational Hygiene Operative

We are currently looking to recruit an Operational Hygiene Operative to join our Droitwich Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The purpose of this role is to create and lead value-added processes that support the site teams to deliver targets and continuously improve performance.

Contract: Full Time/Perm

Salary: £29,084.33 per annum plus overtime premiums

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (8pm-6:30am)

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Operate machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required output
• Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions
• Maintain 5S system and related responsibilities
• Perform Cleaning In Place
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure customer expectations are met
• Replenish materials as required
• Perform first-line maintenance checks
• Actively participate in continuous business improvements
• Work effectively within small teams to achieve operational excellence
• Contribute ideas to improve the business
• Understand the impact of actions on site/business strategy
• Be aware of how performance affects the bottom line
• Ensure health and safety for oneself and others
• Provide on-the-job training (show and tell) to new colleagues

Demonstrable skills, experience, and knowledge in the following areas:
