Location: Brackley (Hybrid – 1–2 days on-site per week)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-Term (3–6 months)
Salary: £60,000 to 65,000 per annum

Operations Control and Governance Accountant (FTC)

We’re looking for a confident and qualified accountant to join a leading UK food manufacturer on a fixed-term basis, supporting a key finance improvement project across multiple operational sites.
This full-time role will be based in Brackley (with hybrid working available), and will play a central role in embedding consistent financial control, governance, and reporting processes across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Standardising and improving site-level financial controls and governance
• Leading the balance sheet review process across all chicken processing sites
• Producing group-wide outputs for greater financial visibility and consistency
• Creating and owning additional reporting linked to operational impacts
• Working closely with site and central teams to drive best practice
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

What we’re looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong financial control and governance experience, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Analytical, hands-on, and comfortable working independently
• Willing to travel occasionally to other Midlands-based sites (expenses covered)
