Anson McCade is recruiting an Operational Cyber Software Engineer in London on-site for a leading national security organisation. You will design secure software, build high-assurance systems, and work within multidisciplinary teams on mission-critical programmes.

You will work across Linux and Windows environments, apply secure-by-design principles, and participate in CI/CD practices while pursuing DV clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one core language such as C++, Java or C#.
• Understanding of secure software development and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD and version control tools.
• Ability to work across Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Current DV clearance, or eligibility and willingness to undergo DV clearance.

I'm working with a leading organisation at the forefront of National Security that's looking to hire experienced Software Engineers to join its Operational Cyber team in London.

This is an opportunity to work on highly classified programmes where you'll develop mission-critical capabilities that directly support the UK's national security. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team solving complex technical challenges across software engineering, cyber and secure systems development.
