OPERATIONAL CYBER DEVELOPER ROLE

As an Operational Cyber Developer, you’ll work in a fast-paced mission-critical environment, developing and integrating software to support national security operations. You’ll work across platforms, languages, and environments, applying security-focused practices throughout the SDLC. From code reviews to continuous integration, your expertise will help ensure delivery of high-assurance solutions.

OPERATIONAL CYBER DEVELOPER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience with at least one solution language: C++, Java, or C#
  • Experience with at least one utility language: Python, JavaScript, Perl, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with major operating systems: Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OSX
  • Understanding of low-level computing (e.g., memory stacks, language compilation)
  • Experience with secure coding practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong grasp of unit testing, mocking, and TDD
  • Comfortable with development tools (IDEs, debuggers, Git/SVN, Jira)
