Are you looking for greater flexibility to work from home? Or perhaps your first Manager grade role where you can learn from a highly talented CRO? This established, niche insurer offers such an opportunity.

This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.

As part of the 2nd line of defense, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risks. You’ll help enhance and execute the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.

You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators as needed.

The role offers scope for personal initiative and encourages continuous challenge to improve the risk culture within the business.

Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad risk experience across disciplines including Operational and Conduct Risk. Insurance sector experience is advantageous but not essential.

You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
