Job summary

Marex is seeking a capable specialist to support the Business Manager within Marex Clearing Services. You will help establish frameworks and controls around the Clearing function and drive improvements across processes to support growth.

As a liaison between business and control functions, you will ensure efficient operations, assist with sales and senior relationship management, and drive changes across projects and initiatives while maintaining clear communication and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Significant relevant experience within a clearing / brokerage firm.
• Data analysis and attention to detail.
• Relationship skills, gaining trust with team members and clients alike.
• Good communicator and sharer of information.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of or experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with technology focused projects, primarily focused on enhancing the various workstreams to assist sales.
• Creating, reviewing and improving existing MI and KPIs to effectively monitor and steer the business.
• Assisting with driving change for the MCS team by establishing new processes, reviewing existing ones and identifying enhancements.
• Assisting sales and relationship management teams with operational queries
• Assisting with project management teams with integrations once initiatives are live
• Ensuring clear communication to manager and escalation where necessary
• Cooperating closely with support teams and the business to complete tasks and projects
• Promoting innovation and work on idea generation
• Ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes, focusing on driving improvement
• Assisting the Business Manager with daily operations and adjusting where necessary.
