Job description
Our client in Cookstown is looking for Operation and Whey CIP Technicians with immediate start.
This full-time role offers fixed shifts. The hours include: 7am-7pm/7pm-7am - 3 days on, 3 days off; 3 nights on.
Job role: As a Cheese and Whey Technician, you will develop a high level of cheese and whey process knowledge. The role requires candidates interested in acquiring specialized knowledge and craft skills in cheese making, alongside operating state-of-the-art, highly automated production facilities to produce quality cheese, from pasteurization through curd production to finished product. Additionally, whey processing will be incorporated. Full training will be provided to develop a comprehensive understanding of these processes.
This is a key role within our cheese-making operation, seeking energetic and driven individuals eager to develop skills, take responsibility, and be part of a successful team. Ideally, candidates will have a background in food processing, technical, or engineering fields, with a good general education, preferably with a third-level food qualification in food science. Candidates should possess a good work ethic, reliability, cooperation, and full flexibility. Previous processing experience is desirable.
