Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is seeking a Theatre Nurse / ODP to work in Anesthetic & Recovery and Scrub. The role requires registration with the NMC or HCPC and relevant scrub experience.

It is a permanent, full-time post with weekend work, and you will bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You will join a close-knit multidisciplinary team, work with leading consultants, and care for a varied caseload using state-of-the-art facilities.

Shrewsbury Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work

Up to £39,220 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anesthetic & Recovery and scrub at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. You must have scrub work experience. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You’re also a great team worker.

As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anaesthetic & Recovery and Scrub, you will:

• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff

• Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
• Required to be on call, while being on call you will receive 20% of your hourly rate.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as "Good" in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
