Job summary

Morley Memorial Primary School in Cambridge is seeking an OPAL Play Team Member to join our friendly staff. The role covers lunchtimes and outdoor play, supporting children in creating engaging, inclusive play environments, indoors and out.

The successful candidate will help with setting out and packing away equipment, promoting safety, and contributing to a welcoming lunchtime experience for all pupils.

OPAL Play Team Member / MDS

Salary: Scale 1, Point 3 (£13.28 per hour)

Contract type: 7.5 hours (11.40am-1.10pm term time only)

Contract term: Permanent

We are delighted to be an OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) School and we are looking for an OPAL Play Team Member to join our friendly team at Morley Memorial Primary School.

We are looking for a an enthusiastic, proactive candidate who is passionate about child development and wants to ensure that every child experiences a child-led, creative lunchtime experience.

The role will involve working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year supporting children's play and lunch in the dining hall. You will be involved in supporting children in creating their own play environments, encouraging inclusivity, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment and helping to set out and pack away equipment.

This role will include working outdoor and indoors and in a range of weather conditions.
