Job summary

ReQuire Consultancy is partnering with a Derby-based product-led business to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager. The role focuses on upstream supplier management, including who the business buys from, price, terms, and supplier performance, with a secure supplier base and potential for further improvement.

You’ll inherit an established supplier base and have opportunities to renegotiate agreements, drive cost savings, and strengthen procurement structures to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Management.
• Manufacturing or product-based environment experience preferred.
• Proven ability to renegotiate supplier agreements and deliver savings.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews and drive delivery, quality and service improvements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, MOQs, and rebates.
• Identify new suppliers and secondary sources.
• Reduce supply risk and improve resilience.
• Review sourcing and stock strategies to balance availability.
• Utilize data to identify cost and performance improvements.
• Implement systems and reporting to support growth.
