Methods are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Portal Developer to join a major digital transformation programme in a highly secure environment. This hands-on role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing portal solutions across Service Portal and Employee Centre, delivering robust, scalable, and user-friendly portals.

You will work with architects, stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into technical solutions and maintaining integrations with external systems.

Formación

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer focused on portal development.
• Hands-on with Service Portal and Employee Centre.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience building custom widgets and self-service solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM and Service Catalog.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems.
• Understanding of UI/UX and responsive design.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise ServiceNow environments.
• Able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Government/defence or regulated environments experience advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portal solutions using Service Portal and Employee Centre.
• Configure and customise widgets, pages, themes, and portal components to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly portal experiences.
• Configure workflows, catalog items, knowledge integrations, and self-service capabilities.
• Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while ensuring platform performance and reliability.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations where appropriate.
