Role Overview:
The purpose of the role is the maintenance of the Siemens Healthineers cyclotron, chemistry modules and isolator. The role will be based at the Nottingham PETNET facility, taking part in maintenance and call outs as part of the cyclotron team to provide radioisotopes for PET radiopharmaceutical production.
This role is perfect for an engineer who loves to tinker, problem-solve, and immerse themselves in complex electrical and mechanical technology that feels more like a passion than a job.
As part of a two-person team, you'll have true ownership of the system and ensure its peak performance.
Role Description:
The Service Engineer services and performs diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of a highly complex Cyclotron Particle Accelerator to deliver the best system performance and minimize disruption to hospitals and patients.
