Job summary

Vanderlande in London–Heathrow seeks a Quality Engineer to assure zero-defect, audit-ready installations across project sites. You will interpret drawings, validate tests, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with clients, consultants and site teams to maintain the highest quality standards.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, pre-commissioning support, and ensuring timely, compliant handovers in a dynamic project environment near Heathrow.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
• Proven experience in installation, commissioning, or quality in automated environments.
• Live operational environment experience (min 5 years).
• Ability to read technical drawings and resolve snags on site.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality gatekeeper ensuring installations meet designs and standards.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and QA records.
• Lead non-conformity analysis and corrective actions.
• Support pre-commissioning and handover with zero-defect goals.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure quality.
