Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the engineering industry, preferably in a technical support role.
• Strong technical knowledge in the relevant engineering domain.
• Excellent communication, able to explain concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Proactive attitude with multitasking and prioritisation.
• Familiarity with AFI techniques such as 8D (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Perform technical inbound inspections of products and parts from external third parties.
• Conduct initial sample inspections for locally procured parts per engineering specs.
• Execute checks on rail powerpacks per documented processes.
• Log quality concerns and initiate the 3C process with the Quality Lead and managers.
• Lead Quality Toolbox talks and announcements to reinforce standards.
• Participate in monthly quality meetings to address challenges and improvements.
• Quarantine and log non-conforming products and tools.
• Interface with customers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review documentation and prepare Inspection Certifications before dispatch.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
