Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to join our Quality Control team onsite in a hands-on laboratory role. You will perform routine microbiological testing across materials, products and purified water, ensuring compliance with cGMP and data integrity requirements.

You will work as part of a laboratory team, support peer reviews, investigate non-conformances and contribute to training of trainee analysts within strict SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum A-level or equivalent in a science-based subject.
• BSc in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Experience in microbiology or pharmaceutical lab environments.
• Strong attention to detail and data recording.
• Familiarity with defined procedures, QA systems and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing of materials and products per specifications and protocols.
• Carry out environmental and hygiene monitoring of process environments.
• Test purified water and record data in compliance with cGMP and data integrity rules.
• Peer review analytical work to support accuracy and integrity of results.
• Investigate non-conformances and raise quality issues with potential solutions.
• Assist in training trainee analysts and follow site SOPs and safety rules.
