KLA, via its SPTS division in Newport, UK, is seeking an Etch Process Engineer to develop and demonstrate plasma etch processes on customer wafers and support field teams.

You'll work on process development, documentation and reporting, collaborate with global teams, and occasionally travel to customer sites, contributing to product advancement and IP generation. The role is on-site and requires a strong background in semiconductor etch technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with industrial semiconductor experience.
• Experience with plasma etch processes in a semiconductor environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and demonstrate plasma etch processes to meet specifications.
• Provide customer technical support and build relationships.
• Prepare technical reports and support patent applications.
• Support field installations and cross-functional projects.
