Job Description:

Grid-scale Battery Storage (BESS) & High Voltage (HV) projects in Durham - onsite every day.

This is a key delivery role, responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating internal and external teams, and ensuring safe, timely, and commercially sound project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mobilisation, on-site construction, and project handover for grid-connected energy projects.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to deliver in line with NEC3/FIDIC contracts.
• Ensure health & safety, quality, and compliance across all phases.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee site progress and reporting aligned with project governance and commercial goals.
• Support internal teams to ensure designs, budgets, and programmes are maintained.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record in construction management for HV, BESS, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3, FIDIC, or similar construction contracts.
• Confident managing subcontractors and leading multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Commercial awareness and experience navigating contractual obligations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of CDM and relevant health & safety legislation.
