Job summary

Bulkhaul Limited in Middlesbrough is seeking a motivated Logistics Planner to support our operations team in coordinating daily logistics, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records.

You will liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and the Customer Service Team, handle documentation, monitor shipments, and provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis. The role is on-site with full training and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or operations support preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and management of daily logistics operations.
• Communicate with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues.
• Prepare and process related documents.
• Support the operations team in planning and executing schedules.
• Liaise with Customer Service Team for inquiries and shipment updates.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
