Job summary

ProfDoc is hiring an Onsite Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist to work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a GP practice. The role is 5 days per week onsite, on a 3-6 month fixed-term contract, paying £35 per hour, with flexible hours within practice opening times 08:15-18:15. You will use EMIS Web for records and prescribing. You will conduct medication reviews and prepare clinical letters, plus face-to-face appointments.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Confident using EMIS Web for clinical records and prescribing activity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews and implement medication changes.
• Prepare and action clinical letters.
• Deliver face-to-face patient appointments.
• Work with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to support safe prescribing.
