Job summary

ProfDoc Healthcare Ltd is looking for an Onsite Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist to join a supportive GP practice. You will deliver medicines optimisation, conduct medication reviews, and provide patient-centred care during face-to-face appointments within 08:15-18:15, five days per week, onsite.

You will collaborate with GPs and nurses, use EMIS Web for records and letters, and help improve patient safety and outcomes during a 3-6 month fixed-term contract with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Experience delivering medicines optimisation and patient-centred care.

About the Position

• 5 days per week, onsite
• 3-6 month fixed-term contract
• £35 per hour
• Flexible hours, within practice opening times of 08:15-18:15
• Use EMIS Web for clinical records, prescribing activity and correspondence
• Conduct medication reviews and implement medication changes
• Prepare and action clinical letters
• Deliver face-to-face patient appointments
• Work closely with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to support safe prescribing and improved patient outcomes
