Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking an HSE Advisor to join the on-site team at Saltend, Hull. The role focuses on developing and delivering safety training, inductions, and competency assessments to support project needs and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate training schedules, manage records, and generate reports for project management and client representatives, ensuring content reflects risk assessments and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating safety training within construction, oil & gas, heavy industry or similar environments.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Training qualifications and ability to deliver varied safety courses.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage large groups and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Training Management Plan for the project.
• Coordinate site inductions, role-specific training, and awareness sessions.
• Forecast training needs to support mobilisation and project phases.
• Maintain training schedules and communicate sessions to supervisors and contractor leads.
• Deliver safety inductions, refresher sessions, toolbox talks, and essential courses (PTW, manual handling, emergency response).
• Prepare training materials and maintain competency profiles; verify qualifications prior to site access.
• Generate weekly/monthly/adhoc reports for Project Management, HSE, and Client Representatives.
• Ensure training content reflects project procedures, risk assessments and industry standards.
