Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Fiber Deployment Engineer to drive onsite data center deployments across EMEA & Nordics. This role partners with internal teams and external vendors to manage fiber and GPU deployments, reporting progress and risks, while ensuring alignment with executives.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in large-scale infrastructure deployments, strong networking knowledge, and a willingness to travel 50–75%+.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving fiber or GPU deployments in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong data center infrastructure and networking knowledge.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%+ of time.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in hyperscale or public cloud environments supporting 24/7 mission-critical services.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central coordination and alignment point across internal and external teams involved in data center infrastructure delivery and fiber deployment.
• Build programs from ambiguous ideas and drive real value (financial, timeline, or risk avoidance).
• Establish clear communication channels, decision forums, escalation paths, and operating rhythms to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Drive alignment on program priorities, milestones, ownership, dependencies, risk mitigation plans, and executive decisions.
• Translate complex inputs into clear, actionable plans for leadership.
• Onsite leadership for fiber deployment at one site or multiple sites in EMEA & Nordics; scale bespoke solutions globally.
• Engage with internal partner teams and external vendors; influence without authority; coach delivery teams.
• Raise capability of delivery community through playbooks, templates, reviews, and live program coaching.
