Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist to manage logistics for in-person events in Glasgow, KY. The role is a per-event contract requiring hands-on, on-site coordination and strong communication with partners, staff, and attendees.

You will oversee setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while adapting to dynamic event needs and timelines. This is a local, on-site, contract-based opportunity intended for candidates based in Glasgow, KY.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience coordinating and staffing on-site for events.
• Proven ability to manage logistics and problem solve at live events.

• Willingness to travel within the local region and work per-event contracts.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all event details and staffing on the day of the event.
• Join planning calls with partners and Visit.org staff.
• Be on-site to set up, run, and tear down events, ensuring quality experiences.
• Represent Visit.org as a leader and problem solver at events.
• Manage check-in and guest welcome, troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Provide updates, photos, and reports to Events Team during the event, post-event wrap-up and return materials to distribution center.
