Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Construction Support Security Manager to protect people, information and assets across Hinkley Point C's construction support environment. You'll lead security strategies with stakeholders and contractors on-site.

The role offers on-site work five days a week at Hinkley Point C, with potential for bonus and a comprehensive pension. Candidates should have security management and risk qualifications and proven leadership across large multi-stakeholder projects.

Qualifications

• Security management qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Risk management qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience leading security activities within large, complex multi-stakeholder organisations
• A comprehensive understanding of physical and technical security service provision
• Experience overseeing contractor-delivered security services and security assurance activities
• Strong report writing, presentation and stakeholder management experience

Responsibilities

• Acting as the security lead for associated developments, supply chain facilities and construction support environments
• Providing direction, oversight and assurance for contractor-delivered security services
• Reviewing and endorsing security vulnerability assessments and operational security requirements
• Building effective relationships with Tier One contractors, local authorities and security stakeholders
• Supporting strategic security planning and holding security providers accountable for service delivery
