Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Configuration Manager for a contract role onsite at our client's premises in the UK. The position will involve CM planning, item management, and document control within a stringent aerospace/engineering environment, with occasional travel to other sites or customer locations.

The role is inside IR35 and hourly rate/salary is negotiable based on experience. The candidate will develop and implement CM plans, manage baselines, coordinate change control boards, and ensure

Qualifications

• Diploma or CMII Certification or equivalent experience.
• Oral & written English language essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform CM planning for new and existing projects.
• Support identification of contract/subcontract CM requirements.
• Write and maintain the CM Plan per policies and tender requirements.
• Implement Approved CM Plan within the Project.
• Create and manage Configuration Items, Product Structures & BOMs in PLM.
• Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR).
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines (FBL/ABL/PBL).
• Manage change process and coordinate Change Control Boards.
• Ensure design change traceability end-to-end.
• Release configuration documentation to track evolution.
