Job description

Montu UK is a leading provider of cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), dedicated to improving the lives of patients through innovative treatments and exceptional care. We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification to join our team in London. This is a key role for a pharmacist passionate about advanced therapies and optimising patient outcomes.

Salary £65,000

40 hour week - Monday - Friday (1 weekend per month)

What You Will Do

As an On-Site Clinical Pharmacist, you will:

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.

• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.

• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.

• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.

• Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.

• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.

• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

• GPhC-registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification

• Experience in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of CBPM or willingness to undergo specialised training.

• Excellent communication and counselling skills.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• A proactive, patient-focused approach to care.
