Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd represents a premier Leeds-area employer seeking an Audit Semi-Senior or Senior. The role requires 2+ years of external audit experience, onsite leadership, and a focus on UK owner-managed and family groups.

You will lead fieldwork, liaise with clients' finance directors, and prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102, with a clear path to Manager and a culture free from rigid bureaucracy.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or exam finalist) with minimum 2 years' external audit experience in UK practice.
• Onsite leadership: at least 12 months leading audit assignments, mentoring juniors.
• Strong understanding of FRS 102 and statutory accounts preparation.
• Excellent client relationships and collaborative team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite audit fieldwork across a client portfolio.
• Liaise directly with client finance directors and review files for partner sign-off.
• Prepare audited financial statements under FRS 102 and ensure accuracy.
• Mentor junior trainees and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
